Teen Gaming Volunteer

HPL offers opportunities for teens to play video games on Nintendo Switch. Teen Gaming Volunteers host sessions and assist with the set-up, take-down and monitoring of gaming equipment as part of the Teen Hub Zone program.  

Volunteer Qualifications:

  • Ages 14-18. 

  • Works well in a group setting. 

  • Ability to communicate well with others. 

  • Reliable and trustworthy. 

  • Tech savvy and comfortable with Nintendo Switch games. 

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Set up and monitor gaming equipment. 

  • Take down equipment at end of program. 

  • Ensure gaming controllers are charged.  

  • Encourage other teens to participate.

Location and Time Commitment:

  • Saltfleet Branch – Thursdays 11-1pm (1 hour shifts 11am-12pm and 12-1pm)

  • Barton Branch - Fridays 3-4pm

  • Must be available to volunteer at least one shift per week
