Archives Awareness Week 2019
Join us for Archives Awareness Week and get to know HPL's collection.
Archives link the past, present and future by ensuring that the records of today are preserved for future generations to understand the life, ideas and thoughts of their original creators.
Since 1914, Hamilton Public Library has been collecting and preserving Hamilton’s history. The collection continues to grow and covers a wide range of local history topics from sports events, places of worship and people, to heritage buildings, landmarks, and much more. There are many ways to access Local History & Archives’ rich collections. We’ve recently launched archives.hpl.ca, a tool to help you access the vast treasures stored within the Local History & Archives department.
Please visit events.hpl.ca/events to register for the programs below.
