Sherwood Branch

In preparation for the 1st Floor renovations, the Sherwood Branch will be closed on Wednesday, May 14. It is expected to reopen on Thursday, May 15 with the completion of the basement renovation. 

Limited computers, printing and scanning will be available on the 2nd Floor as well as browsing our collections (Children, Teen and Graphic Novels). Holds can also be picked up on the 2nd Floor. Members can access the 2nd Floor by the stairwell and elevator. Parking and washroom access is not affected.

The Sherwood Branch was opened as a storefront in a small plaza on Upper Ottawa Street in November 1966. In 1981, the Branch expanded and eventually moved to a larger and brighter facility in June 1991. Sherwood Branch was most recently renovated in 2010.

The Branch offers materials and programming for children, teens and adults.
